miska trailers just called, my trailer is ready for pick up first thing monday morning, WOOHOO! only took 4 weeks, they said it would take 3 weeks, which i found hard to believe because when they built my 5x8 they said 4 weeks but it took almost 9. i'm just glad to be able to get it home when there's no snow on the ground.

gutted out the plywood walls and sprayed tremclad on the bare metal studs yesterday, getting ready for window and insulation install. i'll probably remove the floor sheathing to paint and install mounting brackets for stab jacks (don't like welding overhead if i don't have to, lol!) i'll be replacing the interior plywood with luaun saving about 165 lbs of weight. i haven't done the doors yet but they are not part of the critical path at this time....

started insulating with 1" iso board with foil on both sides for the walls with an extra 1/2" styro to cover the studs and 2" insulation for the ceiling. while i have the floor up installed shock absorbers and stab-jacks, much easier doing it from above. i decided to replace the osb floor with 1/2" plywood which will reduce the weight by another 100lbs.
