Inherited Dads old jeep when he passed. Spent the last 10 years parked in the back of the driveway and needs some serious TLC.

Started a youtube series on the teardown and rebuild if anyone is interested. https://youtu.be/1j2IXOe3_vE

Cool, this should be an interesting one. What's the plan? Stock resto? Full build wheeler? Something in between?

Originally was just going to fix the frame and get it on the road. As the teardown progressed I realized how big a can of worms I'd just opened. After looking over the frame I decided I didnt feel like fabricating 3/4 of one because of the sheer extent of the rot so I ordered up a Throttle Down Kustoms frame. Should be here in a week or two.
    So far - Frame
    - 2 1/2" Trailmaster lift.
    - Heavy duty greasable shackles.
    - Weber 32/36 carb conversion.
    - Engine rebuild underway, Comp Cam 260H full kit.
    - New fenders.
    - LED light upgrade
Thats just a few things off the top of my head, much much more yet to do. Will be fabricating some bumpers, transmission skid pan / mount, and probably some rock sliders. Just depends on how creative I get after I'd had a few cold ones.
