    35”/12.5/18”......on stock rims?

Ok getting new tires and rims is definitely not cheap. I also can’t make up my mind on what rims I like. So I was wondering the pros and cons of just getting... say Cooper stt pro tires 35”/12.50/18 and mounting them on my stock rims. I know I have to do a lift, but would I need spacers as well?

The other down side is that being an 18" rim it will be more expensive than tires for a 17. Also you will have less sidewall on the 18 for offroading.

I don't believe a 12 or 12.5 wide tire is going to fit on a factory 7" wide rim

I've seen that done 9n factory Rubicon rims lots of times for the jk. Works fine with 2.5" spacers. What that translates to in JL world I have no idea.

I'm not sure about the fitment on the jeep with or without spacers. But I have 14" wide tires on a 8" rim. They do look a bit like balloons. But they will fit. I also can run 5 psi without bead locks and have yet to blow a bead. ( Knock on wood) lol
