They're Rugged Ridge Pt# 1121018. I got them at Just Jeeps.

    I went with these https://steinjager.com/shop/Hood-Flu...6-Plated-Steel

Mostly because I won them at Trailfest.

I like those. It appears that you use the original Jeep base parts and just replace the rubber part that breaks. The price is good too … especially what you got them for!

Yep, that's it exactly. Takes a bit of time to set the length but then they are great.

I have the locking Drake kind, I liked the look of those and they are adjustable as well.

Hmmm ... I just retrieved my old ones from the garbage (lol). I'll resurrect them for my TJ!

Took the tc out. I ordered new chain, and Im going to swap sye to my spare tc. So hopefully I can get rid of that damn noise that sounds like my jeep is going to explode when I get under load. Lol

Oh I also found my trans mount tore in two peices. 🙁

That seems to be going around.

Maby you should start looking for a tcase designed to be behind a V8?

Got the old tcase linkage fully removed except the bellcrank leaver. Need a longer t40 to reach it. Got the new shifter built and ready for final install.

Found a front drive shaft ujoint that would have needed replacing soon as the caps are full of rust so that's good... More money... Stupid jeep.

So in one of the reviews on the AA web site the guy says this kit takes about 2h to install... Sure maby in a full shop, with a hoist, on a brand new jeep from navada, and an assistant, maby... Otherwise plan on 8.
