Interested in seeing what you've got going on there. New tires to go with the beadlocks?

Finished my driver side ball joint rebuild, passanger side should be faster now.

Went to reinstall my axle shaft and realized the axle tube was packed full of gear oil soaked mud that touched the splines even if they were on the top of the tube. Scraped about 2lbs of mud out of the driver side tube, blasted it with brake clean and drained the diff after getting the shaft cleaned and installed again. Not a hugely productive night but not bad. Tomorrow, brakes, engine oil, gear oil and grease. Then hopefully load it on the trailer.

It seem like the activities in this thread have really picked up with last minute fixes before May Long weekend.

Yesterday, I rolled down the windows and popped the drain plug to let some water out. Then put gas with stabilizer in it. I will be up north, but not with the jeep.

damn it sux living in the middle of northern nowhere. had all the bolts for the wheels (200), three fastener places (fastenall sudbury and the soo, brafasco) i couldn't get all the lock nuts and even less washers. but anyway, long story short, bolts were too short. had to make an impromptu quick 2 hour trip to sudbury to exchange bolts before they closed. got back after 6 and started installing bolt after bolt on the beadlocks.... eight hours later, have four wheels done. not enough nuts to do the fifth wheel.... got finished after 2am.

no money left for lift to fit new tires yet, so the stock tires have to work. just didn't want to scratch up the stock wheels...

some THC porn for you now...

Well got everything except engine oil and load it on the trailer done, then I remembered more stuff that needs doing. Still have to do sway bar links and replace one link bracket that ripped off. Then organize the jeep and pack it.

I did find a home for the new saw for now though.
